For individual leaders

Your experience adds up to more than your last title.

For leaders deciding what comes next. We help you get clear on the contribution you want to make, then build the position, presence and opportunities to carry it.

You probably don’t need help listing what you’ve done. The harder part is working out what all of it adds up to.

After a long career, the most valuable parts of your experience are often the hardest to see from inside it. Your title captures one role. Your CV records what happened. Neither necessarily explains the judgement people rely on you for, the problems you repeatedly solve, or where that could take you next.

That’s where we start.

The work moves through four stages, and each one leaves you with something you can use.

Each stage builds on the one before: understanding what you bring, being recognised for it, putting it in front of the right people and building a practice that lasts. Choose a stage and the folio opens to it, with what happens, what you leave with and an example of the result. You can mark the stage where you would like to begin.

Stage 01 · Witness

Know who you are

A strategy conversation with Scarlet to clarify what you bring and where you want to go.

You leave with

  • Your leadership narrative
  • A clear direction and a pitch you can use
  • Your why, in a few lines
  • Three brand directions to choose from
How it works

What happens

  1. The strategy session

Scarlet goes through your career with you in detail and maps where your authority already sits.

    In practice

We talk through your career, the turning points and what you keep coming back to. Scarlet listens for the pattern underneath and writes it up as your leadership narrative.

  2. Your direction

Where you want your work to go next, clear enough to act on and open enough to keep exploring, with a pitch people can repeat.

    In practice

We test the directions you could take against what you bring and what you want next, settle what is clear now and leave room for what you are still exploring. Then we find the sentence you would say at a dinner, on a panel or in a lift.

  3. Your why

What drives you, in words you can come back to when it gets hard.

    In practice

We name what is driving you in words that still hold on a hard day, and keep them where you will see them.

  4. Three brand directions

Three ways your brand could look and sound, for you to choose from.

    In practice

Each direction has its own colours, type, imagery and tone of voice, laid side by side so you can choose the one to build in stage 02.

Your leadership narrative

Prepared for Your Name

Where you've come from

Twenty years in regional water and infrastructure, moving from engineering into the rooms where projects are funded and explained. The titles changed every few years; the work underneath them rarely did.

The pattern

Every turning point has the same shape: a complex project, a sceptical audience, and you translating one for the other until both could say yes.

What you're here to bring

The uncommon ability to make large technical decisions understandable to the people who pay for them and the communities who live with them.

Your direction · first draft

“I make big regional water projects understandable, to the people who fund them and the communities who live with them.”

Your why

Good projects fail when nobody can explain them, and you would rather they didn't.

The Legacy Impact StudioLegacy, in your own lifetime.
Sample person

Every piece of work is scoped with you before it starts, and you take on only the stages you need. At the end of the agreed work you can carry it forward yourself, or continue with the tools and support that help.

Studio extras

For the legacy you are building.

Two Studio apps for anyone who cares about the long view: what a career adds up to, and what the work goes on to change. They sit outside the stages, so you can add either one whenever it becomes useful, on a subscription.

Your career as a map: each chapter of your work as its own world, joined by the people, patterns and evidence that connect them. The career mapping from your strategy session can become its foundation.
